SITC Hammer Throw Clinic

Learn from Coach Damien Kalvar about the basics of hammer throw. Includes hammer specific drills and skills.

This clinic is recommended for athletes age 14 and up but we will consider younger athletes on a case by case basis.

Athletes should bring throwing shoes and water.

If you have a hammer and/or a hammer glove, please bring it to the clinic. We will have implements and gloves for those who do not.

Suggested donation is $60 per participant. All proceeds go towards supporting the 2026 IHSHA State High Hammer Championship Meet in June. Checks can be written to Indiana High School Hammer Association.
